Dişeti Çekilmelerinin Tedavisinde Başarıyı Etkileyen Faktörler

Abstract

Dişeti çekilmelerinin tedavisinde günümüze kadar birçok teknik ve biyomateryal kullanılmıştır. Bu tekniklerdeki gelişmelerin devam etmesi ve yeni biyomateryaller deneniyor olması; yöntemlerin öngörülebilirliklerinin, klinik başarılarının arttırılma çabası ve hastaların estetik beklentilerinin karşılanmak istenmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Mukogingival cerrahi teknikleri yapışık dişeti ve keratinize dişetini içeren çeşitli yumuşak doku defektlerinin düzeltilmesinde uygulanan tedavi yöntemleri olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Günümüze kadar uygulanmış olan periodontal plastik cerrahi operasyonlar arasında bağ doku greftinin (BDG) dişeti çekilmelerinde en iyi sonuçları sağladığı ve kök yüzeyi kapanma teknikleri içinde altın standart kabul edildiği bildirilmektedir. Uygulanan tüm tekniklerde hastaya bağlı konak doku farklılıkları, uygulanan tekniğe ve dişeti çekilme bölgesine ait değişken faktörler gibi iyileşmeyi ve başarıyı etkileyen çok sayıda etmen bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca dişeti çekilmesi olan alanda keratinize doku genişliğinin yeterli olması tedavinin uzun dönem başarısı açısından önemli bir kriter olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır.
