Hypericum Perforatum Uygulanan Ehrlich Asit Solid Tümör Oluşturulmuş Farelerde Karaciğer Dokusu Adenozin Deaminaz Enzim Aktivitesi

Abstract

Kanser tedavisinde kullanılan ilaçlar hastalarda ciddi yan etkiler meydana getirmektedir. Bu sebeple kanseri tedavisinde kullanılabilecek, yan etkileri olmayan bitkisel kaynaklı ilaçların geliştirilmesi konusunda çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Meme kanserinde karsinojenik süreç ve bazı enzimlerin aktivasyonu arasında önemli bir ilişki olduğu, kanser doku ve hücrelerinde ise ADA aktivitesinin artabileceği ya da azalabileceği bildirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada kanser tedavisinde kullanımları antioksidan etkileri bilinen H. Perforatum’un sulu ekstratının meme kanseri oluşturulan farelerde, karaciğer dokusu ADA enzim aktiviteleri üzerindeki etkilerinin araştırılması amaçlandı. Çalışmada deney hayvanları, sağlıklı kontrol grubu (Grup 1, n=8), kanserli kontrol grubu (Grup 2, n=9 ), düşük doz H. Perforatum (grup 3, n=8), yüksek doz H. Perforatum (grup 4, n=11) ve Doksorubisin (Grup 5, n=12) uygulanan gruplar olmak üzere beş gruba ayrıldı. ADA aktivitesi, Grup 2’de Grup 4’e göre arttığı (P<0.05) tespit edilmiştir.

Liver Tissue Adenosine Deaminase Enzyme Activity in Hypericum Perforatum Applied Ehrlich Acid Solid Tumor Bearing Mice

Abstract

Drugs used in cancer treatment have serious side effects in patients. For this reason, studies are being carried out on the development of herbal based drugs that can be used in the treatment of cancer without side effects. It has been reported that there is an important relationship between carcinogenic process and activation of some enzymes in breast cancer and ADA activity may increase or decrease in cancer tissues and cells. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of aqueous extract of H. perforatum on liver tissue ADA enzyme activities in breast cancerinduced mice.In the study, mice divided into five groups; healthy control group (Group 1, n = 8), cancer control group (Group 2, n = 9), low-dose H. Perforatum (group 3, n = 8), high-dose H. Perforatum (group 4), n = 11) and doxorubicin (Group 5, n = 12). Liver tissue ADA activity increased in Group 2 compared to Group 4 (P <0.05).
