Dişeti Çekilmelerinin Tedavisinde Farklı Trombosit Konsantrasyonlarının Kullanımı

Year 2019, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 43 - 52, 03.02.2019

Abstract

Use of Different Platelet Concentrations In The Treatment of Gingival Recessions

Year 2019, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 43 - 52, 03.02.2019

Abstract

Gingival recessions are the most common disorders in adults and cause root hypersensitivity, root caries, and aesthetic problems. These problems can be treated with various periodontal plastic surgery procedures. Connective tissue graft operations have been gold standard among treatment methods, and due to some disadvantages, researchers have sought alternative grafts. Platelet concentrates are autogenous products with regenerative effects that accelerate wound healing. These characteristics have become the focus of attention in the treatment of gingival recessions. The aim of this review is to evaluate the efficacy of platelet concentrates such as PRP, PRF, CGF, T-PRF, etc., used in the treatment of gingival recessions.

"The truest guide for everything in the world, for civilization, for life, for success, is science. Seeking a guide outside of science and science is heedlessness, ignorance, and deviating from the right path. It is only necessary to understand the development of science and science in every minute we live and to follow the progress in time. To attempt to apply the rules of science and science a thousand, two thousand, and thousands of years ago, today, after so many thousand years, is, of course, not to be in science and science."
