Abstract

Bu çalışmada,
Ocak 2004 – Temmuz 2019 yılları arasında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Veteriner
Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalında incelenen 78 köpeğe ait meme tümörü olayı
ele alınmıştır. Bu tümörlerin 25’i (% 36.23) Terrier, 11’i (%15.94) Melez, 7’si
Cocker (% 10.14) ve geriye kalan 26’sı (% 37.68) da 13 değişik ırka aitti.
9’unun ise ırkı bilinmemekteydi. İncelenen 78 köpekten 7 tanesinin yaşı
bilinmiyordu. Bunun dışında kalan 71 köpeğin 31’i (% 43.46) 9-12 yaş arası,
invaziv mikropapiller karsinom, 4 komedokarsinom, 3 mikst tip karsinom, 3
duktal karsinom, 2 intraduktal papiller karsinom, 2 adenoskuamöz karsinom, 1
karsinom ve malign myoepitelyom); 3’ünün ise benign (2 benign mikst, 1
intraduktal papiller adenom) yapıda olduğu saptandı.

Abstract

In
this retrospective study, 78 canine mammary tumors were examined at the
Pathology Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ondokuz
Mayis, from January 2004 to
July 2019.Twenty-five of 78 dogs with tumors (36.23%) were terrier, 11 (15.94%)
mixed,7 (10.14%) cocker, 26 (37.68%) were 13 different breeds. Breeds of 9 were
not known. The ages of 7 dogs out of 78 dogs were not known. In 71 dogs,
excluding these unknown dogs, 31 (43.46%) were between 9-12 years, 27 (38.03%)
were between 5-8 years, 10 (14.08%) were between 13-16 years, 3 (4.23%) were
between 1-4 years old. Seventy-five cases of 78 were malignant (23 complex
carcinoma, 22 carcinosarcoma -malignant mixed mammary tumor, 5 tubular
carcinoma, 5 tubulopapillary carcinoma, 5 invasive micropapillary carcinoma, 4
comedocarcinoma, 3 mixed type carcinoma, 3 ductal carcinoma, 2 intraductal
papillary carcinoma, 2 adenosquamous carcinoma, 1 carcinoma and malignant myoepithelioma)
and remaining 3 cases were benign (2 benign mixed tumors, 1 intraductal
papillary adenoma).
