Abstract
In this study, congenital flexure of fetlock, which is a congenital malformation and mild form of arthrogryposis was presented in a 7 day old, male, Holstein calf.
The calf with an abnormality in the rear limbs was presented to the department of Surgery of our Faculty. The clinical and radiological examinations revealed hyperextension and rigidity in the fetlock. Euthanasia was performed due to the inefficiency of one-weck-long bandage application and the progressive deterioration of the patient's general condition. At necropsy, in addition to the hyperextension and rigidity in the fetlock, gross lesions were observed in the lungs and lymph nodes of mediastinum. Histopathological examination revealed tendinous atrophy, and metaplasia to fibrous and lipoid tissues in the flexor tendon. Also interstitial and purulent pneumonia in lungs and lymphadenitis simplex in lymph nodes of mediastinum were observed.

Özet
Bu çalışmada, yedi günlük, erkek, holstein ırkı buzağıda kongenital bir malformasyon ve artrogripozis'in hafif formu olan topuk eklemlerinin kongenital bükülmesi olgusu tanımlanmıştır.
Doğum sonrası arka bacaklardaki anomali şikayeti ile Fakültemiz Cerrahi Kliniği'ne getirilen buzağının, klinik ve radyolojik incelemeleri sonucunda, topuk eklemlerinde hiperekstensiyon ve katlık saptandı. Bir hafta süre ile yapılan cebireli bandaj uygulamasından olumlu sonuç alınamaması ve hayvanın genel durumunun bozulması üzerine ötanazi uygulandı. Nekropside, topuk eklemlerinde hiperekstensiyon ve katılığın yanı sıra, akciğer ve mediastinal lenf yumrularında makroskobik lezyonlar gözlendi. Mikroskobik olarak, fleksor tendolarda atrofi ile fibroz ve yağ dokuya dönüşüm izlendi. Ayrıca, akciğerde interstisyel ve purulent pnomoni ile mediastinal lenf yumrularında lenfadenitis simpleks tespit edildi.
