Abstract

Ankara melezi, 4 yaşlı dişi bir kedinin pelvis renalisinden intraoperatif yolla alınan sıvapdan Actinomyces naeslundii (A. naeslundii) izole ve identifiye edildi. İzole edilen bakterinin cins düzeyinde identifikasyonu için biyokimyasal testler, tür düzeyinde identifikasyonu için 16S rRNA dizi analizi yapıldı. İzolatın, amoksisilin (25 µg), amoksisilin-klavulanik asit (30 µg), ampisilin (25 µg), florfenikol (30 µg), seftiofur (30 µg), kloramfenikol (30 µg), kanamisin (30 µg), enrofloksasin (5 µg), eritromisin (15 µg), gentamisin (10 µg), penisilin (10 Unite), rifamisin (30 µg), tetrasiklin (30 µg), oksasilin (5 µg) ve vankomisin (30 µg) duyarlılığı Kirby-Bauer disk difüzyon testi ile araştırıldı. Sonuç olarak kedilerde saprofit olarak bulunan A. naeslundii’nin ölümcül bir infeksiyona yol açtığı ilk kez ortaya kondu.
