İzmir İç Körfez İhtiyoplanktonu, Ege Denizi (2022-2023)

Abstract

Türkiye’nin en önemli doğal limanlarından biri olan İzmir Körfezi; İzmir şehrinin çevresinde yer almakta olup çeşitli endüstriyel faaliyetler ile birlikte küçük nehirlerin deşarjı ve kanalizasyon girişlerinden dolayı büyük ölçüde kirlilikten etkilenmektedir. Atıksu arıtma tesisinin 2000 yılında devreye girmesi ile körfezdeki tür çeşitliliğini izleme çalışmaları önem kazanmıştır. Bu çalışmalardan biri de 2022 ve 2023 yıllarında gerçekleştirilen “İzmir Körfezi’nde Gerçekleştirilecek Tarama Faaliyetleri’nin İzmir Körfezi Denizel Ortamında Fiziksel, Kimyasal ve Biyolojik Etki ve Sonuçlarının İzlenmesi” projesidir. Çalışmamızda ihtiyoplankton örnekleri; proje kapsamında iç körfezde belirlenmiş 7 adet istasyondan vertikal plankton çekimleri olmak üzere yılda 2 kez (ilkbahar ve sonbahar) olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. 2 yıllık örnekleme sonucunda 7 familya ve 8 türe ait toplam 10765 birey/ m2 yumurta, 542,3 birey/m2 prelarva, 2063,65 birey/m2 postlarva elde edilmiştir. Tespit edilen familya ve türler; Engraulidae (Engraulis encrasicolus), Clupeidae (Sardina pilchardus), Gobiidae (Gobius niger, Gobius paganellus), Mugilidae (Liza saliens), Callionymidae (Callionymus festivus), Blenniidae (Lipophrys pavo), Soleidae (Buglossidium luteum)’dir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde iç körfezde özelikle E. encrasicolus türünün dominant durumda olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
