Abstract
Tuberculosis disease has been the subject of literary texts many times in Turkish and World literature/art. When we look at the texts in Turkish literature where tuberculosis is discussed, the cause of the disease during the Tanzimat and Servet-i Funun periods is the love, the pain of love, and the inability to get together. In the Republican period, the cause of the disease was often poverty. The disease, which is the subject of novels and poems, is also a disease that some Turkish writers and poets suffer from. The subject of tuberculosis is mentioned in many works in World literature; It has been used in novels, poems, operas, and some films. There are World-famous painters who focus on the disease in their works. There are also artists who mention tuberculosis in the songs they composed. As is the case with Turkish artists, some artists who contributed to World literature also contracted tuberculosis and died from the disease. With this article, it is aimed to commemorate people who left their mark on Turkish and World literature / art. However, it is not possible for me to discuss all the artists who had tuberculosis or mentioned tuberculosis in their texts. I definitely have my shortcomings. I hope they would forgive me.

Abstract
Türk ve Dünya edebiyatında/sanatında tüberküloz hastalığı edebi metinlere pek çok kez konu olmuştur. Türk edebiyatında tüberkülozun işlendiği metinlere baktığımızda Tanzimat ve Servet-i Fünun döneminde hastalığın nedeni aşk, aşk acısı ve kavuşamamaktır. Cumhuriyet döneminde ise hastalığın nedeni çoğu zaman fakirliktir. Roman ve şiirlerde konu olan hastalık, aynı zamanda Türk yazar ve şairlerden bazılarının muzdarip de olduğu bir hastalıktır. Dünya edebiyatında da tüberküloz pek çok eserlere (roman, şiir ve opera vs) ve bazı filmlere konu olmuştur. Dünyaca meşhur ressamlardan eserlerinde hastalığı konu edenler bulunmaktadır. Besteledikleri şarkılarda tüberkülozdan bahseden sanatçılar vardır. Türk sanatçılarında olduğu gibi, dünya edebiyatına katkı sunan sanatçılardan da tüberküloza yakalananlar ve hastalıktan vefat edenler olmuştur. Bu yazı ile Türkiye ve dünya edebiyatında / sanatında iz bırakan kişileri anmak amaçlanmıştır. Fakat, mevcut yazıda tüberküloz olan ya da metinlerinde tüberkülozdan bahsetmiş olan tüm sanatçıları ele almak mümkün olamamıştır.
