Serbest Radikal Türlerinin Membran Lipid Peroksidasyonuna Etkileri ve Hücresel Antioksidan Savunma

Year 1995, Volume: 1 Issue: 2, 137 - 142, 06.11.1995

Abstract

Effect of Free Radical Species on Membrane Lipid Peroxidation and Cellular Antioxidant Defense

Year 1995, Volume: 1 Issue: 2, 137 - 142, 06.11.1995

Abstract

In this article free radicals and antioxidants uıhich have become focus of attention with regard to their formation and mechanisms in recent years are discussed. Aerobic organismsgenerale oxygen derivated free radicals during oxygen metabolism, and they carry antioxidan Chemicals and enzymes which prevent or reduce the effect of these radicals. The more common sources of free radicals are described in the article and the methods used by cells to protect themselves from free radical damage, are described.
