Anterior Kesici Dişlerde Beyazlatma Tedavisi ve Diastemalarin Kapatılması: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Minenin zamanla aşınması ve dentinin açığa çıkması, çay, kahve, sigara gibi alışkanlıklar zamanla doğal diş beyazlığının kaybedilmesine sebep olurken ; diş boyutlarının çene arkı ve birbirleriyle olan uyumsuzluğu diastemaların oluşmasına sebep olabilmektedir. Hidrojen peroksitler ofis ortamında vital beyazlatma tedavisinde en sık kullanılan kimyasal ajan olarak kabul edilmektedir. Direkt kompozit rezin restorasyonlar ise diastemaların kapatılmasında estetik, fonksiyonel ve biyolojik olarak kabul edilir ve önerilebilirler. Kimyasal beyazlatıcılar ofis ortamında, kısa sürede dişleri beyazlatmada sonuç verirken; direkt kompozit rezin restorasyonlarla da tek seansta dişler üzerinde şekil, konum ve renk değişikliği elde etmek mümkün olmaktadır. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı; koyu diş rengine ve diastemalara sahip olan hastanın tek seansta vital beyazlatma tekniği ile diş renginin beyazlatılmasının ardından yine tek seansta direkt kompozit rezin restorasyonlarla diastemalarının kapatılmasının sunulmasıdır.

Bleaching Treatment of Anterior Incisor Teeth and Closure of Diastemas: Case Report

Abstract

While the erosion of enamel over time and the exposure of dentine, habits such as tea, coffee, smoking cause the loss of natural tooth whiteness ; the incompatibility of tooth sizes with the jaw arch and each other can cause the formation of diastemas. Hydrogen peroxides are accepted as the most commonly used chemical agent in vital whitening treatment in the office environment. In addition, direct composite resin restorations can be considered and recommended as aesthetic, functional and biological in the treatment of diastemas. While chemical bleaching agents give results in whitening teeth in a short time in the office; with direct composite resin restorations, it is possible to obtain a change in shape, position and color on teeth in one session. The purpose of this case report is; the presentation of the patient whose tooth color has darkened over time and has diastemas, after the tooth color is bleached with vital bleaching technique in one session, the diastemas are closed with direct composite resin application in one session.
