Mastitislerden izole edilen enterokokların moleküler tiplendirilmesi

İnek mastitislerinde enterokok etkenlerinin varlığını belirlemek ve izole edilen suşları moleküler tekniklerle tiplendirmek amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada, Ankara ve Balıkesir illerindeki süt işletmelerinden sağlanan sütlerden izole edilen 75 adet enterokok suşu incelendi. Moleküler tiplendirme Restriksiyon Enzimi Uzunluk Polimorfizmleri- Polimeraz Zincir Reaksiyonu (RFLP-PCR) ile yapıldı. Bu yöntemle 61 adet etken Enterococcus faecium ve 14 adet etken ise Enterococcus avium olarak identifiye edildi. İzolatların genotiplendirilmesi amacıyla yapılan Rastgele Çoğaltılmış Polimorfik DNA- Polimeraz Zincir Reaksiyonu sonuçlarına göre Enterococcus faecium suşlarında 10 adet, Enterococcus avium suşlarında ise 7 adet farklı profil görüntülendi. Bu bulgular enterokok etkenlerinin inek mastitislerindeki önemini ve rolünü göstermektedir

Molecular typing of Enterococcus spp. isolated from cow mastitis

The objectives of this study were to the determine the presence of Enterococcus spp. in cow mastitis and to characterize the isolated strains using molecular techniques. A total of 75 Enterococcus spp. isolated from dairy farms in Ankara and Balıkesir cities were examined. Sixty-one Enterococcus faecium and 14 Enterococcus avium strains were identified according to Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism-Polymerase Chain Reaction results. Additionally different 10 and 7 Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA- Polymerase Chain Reaction profiles were detected in E. faecium and E. avium strains, respectively. These finding showed the importance and the role of Enterococcus spp. in cow mastitis
