Öz
SUDunary: A survey was eondueted for the determination of IBR antibodies in the
serum of catde in Turkey. A total of 1029 serum samples ware proeured from the different loealities of the eountry. The antibodies were deteeted by mieroneutralization test
using known neutralizing antigen. The serum samples were collected from the different
eatde forms whieh belonged to food and agrieulture and animal Husbandry departments.
The serum eolleeted from east and middle of Turkey showed antibodies against IBR virus
in ~6.l % cases. The serum eollel'ted from İnanlı inekhanesi showed 62.5 % , Boztepe
İnekhanesi 66 a % and Karacabey İnekhanesi O % eases positive against the !BR virus.
