The Cases and Treatment of infectious Bovine Keratoconjunctivitis Encountered in Herd Beef Cattle.

Öz



In
this study, the treatment of a total of 24 cattle (21 Holstein and 3
Broınnsıviss) suffering from infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis ınas
carried out. Bacteriological swabs were collected from the conjunctiva sacs,
after clinical examination. Local and parenteral antibiotic treatments were performed following isolation and Identification of the causative organisms.
The affected animals with infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis were treated
by parenteral injection of enrofloxacin and subconjunctival injection of penicillin.
Diseased animals recovered in average 4-20 days.

Bir Besi İşletmesinde Karşılaşılan Enfeksiyöz Bovine Keratokonjunktivitis Olayı ve Sağaltımı

Öz

Bu makalede, 24 enfeksiyöz
keratokonjunktivitisli besi tosunun (21 Holstein, 3 Montofon) sağaltımı konu
edildi. Klinik muayene sonrası subkonjunktival keseden sıvablar alındı. Etken
izolasyon ve identifikasyonunu takiben lokal ve parenteral antibiyotik sağaltımı
gerçekleştirildi. Hayvanlar parenteral enrofloxacine ve subkonjunktival
penicillin ile sağaltıldılar. Tedavi edilen hayvanlar ortalama 14-20 gün içinde
düzeldiler.
