Günümüzde COVID-19 pandemisi nedeniyle özellikle egzotik (yabani) hayvan kaynaklı zoonotik hastalıkların önemi ve küresel ölçekte yaptıkları olumsuz etkiler tekrar gündeme gelmiştir. Bu derlemede, zoonotik hastalıkların nedenleri, hastalık etkenleri ve muhtemel tedavi metotları hakkında bilgi verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Belirtilen çerçevede konu bakteriyel zoonozlar, paraziter/fungal zoonozlar, viral zoonozlar ana başlıkları altında ele alınmıştır.

Today, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of zoonotic diseases originating from exotic (wild) animals and their negative effects on a global scale have come to the fore again. In this review, information about the causes of zoonotic diseases, disease factors and possible treatment methods were tried to be given. In the specified framework, the subject is discussed under the main headings of bacterial zoonoses, parasitic/fungal zoonoses, and viral zoonoses.
