Suınmary: Two species of acar (Acarus siro and Caloglyphus rhizoglyphoides) belonging to Tyroglyphidae family were found on the Turkish kashar checse sold at the market. The morphological characteristics of the miles are given and the pictures showing
important parts of the body are added to the end of the text. The diagnosis made by us
were also confirmed by Entomology Section of the British Museum(5).
Özet: Piyasada satılan kaşar peynirlerinde Tyroglyphidae familyasına ba~lı iki cins
akar; Acarus siro ve Caloglyphus rhizoglyphoides bulunmuştur. Bu iki akar'ın morfolojik
özellikleri bildirilmiş, ayrıca önemli kısımlarının foto~rafları metne eklenmiştir.
