A Brown Swiss female calf died 3 days after delivery was referred to the Erciyes University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Department of Pathology. Calf head was investigated by pathologic-anatomic and magnetic resonance (MR) methods. In the pathological-anatomical examination, the calf had a single body and extremity system, diprosopus, cleft palate (palatoschisis) and the abnormalities of single root which was characterized by dual tongues, identified by magnetic resonance. It was diagnosed as diprosopus case supported by MR
Erciyes Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Patoloji Anabilim Dalı’na getirilen, canlı doğup 3 gün yaşadıktan sonra ölen bir adet dişi Montofon ırkı buzağının kafası patolojik-anatomik ve manyetik rezonans (MR) görüntüleriyle incelendi. Yapılan patolojikanatomik muayenede, tek bir gövde ve ekstremite sistemine sahip buzağının, diprosopus, damak yarığı (palatoschisis) ve tek kökten çıkan çift dille karakterize anomalileri tespit edilmiş ve bulgular MR görüntüleri ile desteklenerek olguya diprosopus tanısı konulmuştur
