Abstract
Ankara’nın Beypazarı ilçesi’nde avlanıp nekropsi yapılan bir yaban tavşanın incebağırsaklarında 20 erkek ve 27 dişi olmak üzere toplam 47 Nematodirus leporis Chandler, 1924 saptanmıştır. Türkiye’de tavşanlarda ilk kez rastlanan bu nematodun morfolojik özellikleri belirlenmiş, önemli kısımlarının fotoğrafları çekilerek metne eklenmiştir. Nematodirus leporis (Chandler, 1924) evcil ve yabani tavşanların incebağırsaklarında yaşayan Trichostrongylidae ailesine bağlı bir nematoddur. Oldukça narin yapılı olan parazitin vücudu helezon şeklinde olup, uzunlamasına 18 çizgi taşır. Erkek ve dişilerin ön kısmında enine çizgili küçük bir baş vezikülü bulunur. Erkek parazitlerin uzunluğu 8.0-13.0 mm, genişliği ise en fazla 0.4-0.5 mm kadardır. Özefagus uzunluğu 464.9 (441.0-509.6) µm kadardır.

Abstract
Nematodirus leporis (Chandler, 1924) was found in the large intestine of the wild rabbit in Ankara. Twenty male and twenty seven female Nematodirus leporis Chandler, 1924 were collected. This is the first report of N. leporis from rabbits in Turkey.
