Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of different semen extender and bovine serum albumine added to extender on freezing of dog semen. In study, 5 German Shepherd dog used for semen collecting were 2-4 years old. During research, a total of 50 ejaculates consist of 10 samples from each dog by massage method twice in a week. Differences among dogs for sperm motility and sperm concentration were significant (p0.05) in fresh semen statistically. Post-thawing sperm motility (%) was found 58.0±11.3, 55.8± 10.8, the percentage of abnormal sperm(%) 11.1± 5.2, 18.3± 4.5 and the percentage of dead sperm (%) 29.8±5.5 and 37.4± 6.0 for mtris A (glycerol, BSA, yumurta sarısı) and mtris B (glycerol, egg yolk) in frozen dog semen. respectively. The same spermatological characteristics (%) were recorded as 34.0± 9.8, 36.0 ± 8.7; 11.2± 4.2, 11.0 ±3 .2 and 27.7± 8.6 and 28.4± 9.4 for laiciphos-A (glycerol, BSA, yumurta sarısı) and for laiciphos-B (glycerol, egg yolk) respectively. Abstract
Bu çalışmada, köpek spermasının dondurulması üzerine farklı sperma sulandırıcıları ve sulandırıcıya katılan bovine serum albuminin (BSA) etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, 2-4 yaşlarında 5 Alman Çoban köpeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma süresince, haftada iki kez el masajı yöntemiyle her köpekten 10 olmak üzere toplam 50 ejakülat alınmıştır. Nativ spermalarda spermatozoa motilitesi ve spermatozoa yoğunluğu bakımından istatistiksel olarak bireyler arasındaki fark (p0.05) kaydedilmiştir. Dondurulmuş köpek spermalarında mtris-A (gliserol, BSA, yumurta sarısı) ve mtris-B (gliserol, yumurta sarısı) sulandırıcıları için çözdürme sonrası spermatozoa motilitesi (%) 58.0±11.3, 55.8±10.8, anormal spermatozoa oranı (%) 11.1± 5.2, 18.3± 4.5 ve ölü spermatozoa oranı (%) 29.8± 5.5 ve 37.4±6.0 bulunmuştur. Laiciphos-A (gliserol, BSA, yumurta sarısı) ve laiciphos-B (gliserol, yumurta sarısı) için aynı değerler sırasıyla 34.0± 9.8, 36.0 ± 8.7; 11.2± 4.2, 11.0 ± 3.2; ve 27.7± 8.6 ve 28.4±9.4 kaydedilmiştir.
