Abstract

Cerrahi Anabilim Dalı Kliniğine getirilen 5 yaşlı, dişi, melez bir kedinin sağ alt göz kapağı derisinde gözlenen tümöralkitleye, klinik ve histopatolojik muayene bulguları ile yassı hücreli karsinom tanısı kondu. Olguda, tümörün eksizyonunu takibenoluşan defekt, yüz ve boyun bölgesinden rotasyonal deri grefti kuııanılarak onarıldı. Kedilerde göz kapağı neoplazilerinin köpeklere
oranla daha az geliştiği bildirilmiş, kediler arasında
yapılan bir değerlendirmede göz kapağı neoplazisi
gözlenen 85 kedide, yassı hücreli karsinom (YHK) olgularının % 65 oranında en ön sırada yer aldığı kaydedilmiştir (5). YHK nın, ırk ve cinsiyetle bağlantılı olmadığı
ancak ileri yaşlarda, beyaz kedilerde ve alt göz
kapağında görülme oranının daha fazla olduğu
bildirilmektedir. K

Abstract

The cat 5 years old, female and mix breed who has a turnaral mass in the lower palpebra and its margine was attended the clinics of Department of Surgery, Veterinary Faculty. Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) was diagnosed in the clinical andhistopathological investigations of the mass. After excision of the turnaral mass, the defect was restorated using rotational skin graftfrom facial and neck region.
