The veins of the head region in the New Zealand rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus L.) Part II: Linguofacial vein and its branches
Abstract
In the present study, the veins of the head in the New Zealand rabbits were examined macro anatomically. A number of 16 adult rabbİts were used in the study. The veins were filled with latex and dissected. It was determined that malar vein arisesfrom facİal vein. it was found that v. lateralis nasi was anastomosed with the branch of superior labial vein which courses dorsally aswell as v. dorsalis nasİ. It was observed that supraorbital vein was the contunious part of v. angularis oculi in frontal region and wasjoined the structure of ophthalmic sinus entering the orbita from supraorbital incisura. It was determined that buccal vein arised fromthe rostromedial face of facia vein. It was also established that both superior palpebral vein and inferior palpebral vein were branched from angular ocular vein, via a common trunk

Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Yeni Zelanda tavşanının baş bölgesi vena'ları makro anatomik olarak incelendi. Araştırmada, 16 adetergin Yeni Zelanda tavşanından faydalanıldı. Materyallerin tümü latex ile dolduruldu ve diseksiyon yapıldı. V. malaris'inv.facialis'ten çıktığı belirlendi. V. lateralis nasi'nin v. dorsalis nasi'nin yanısıra v. labialis superior'un dorsal yönde seyreden dalı ilede anastomoz yaptığı tespit edildi. Vena supraorbitalis'in v. angularis oculi'nin regio frontalis'teki devamı olduğu ve incisura supcraorbitalis rostralis'ten orbita'ya girerek sinus ophthalmicus'un oluşumuna katıldığı gözlendi. V. buccalis'in v. facialis'in rostromedial yüzünden orijin aldığı.belirlendi. Vena palpebralis superior medİalis'in v. pal'pebralis inferior medialis ile ortak bir kök ha.linde, v. angularis oculi'den çıktığı saptandı
