Arterial vascularization of the cerebeııum in Akkaraman sheep

Abstract

The arterial supply of the eerebellum was investigated in 20 adult Akkaraman sheep by gross dissection and latexcasting teehniques. The origin, branching pattem and central distributions of the cerebellar arteries were observed. Anastomosesbetween the cürtica] branches of cerebellar arteries were alsa investigated.The cerebellum was supplied by the rostral cerebellar arterywhiclı arises as a branch of the caudal comınunieatingwas deterıııined that lobulus centralis, lobulus ascendens, eulmen, declive and tuber verınis were supplied by branehes of rostral cerebellar artery. There were anastoınosisof right rostral cerebellar artery and left rostral cerebellar artery seen on the part of rastral cerebellum. It was postulated that floeculus, lateral eerebellar lobe, nodulus, uvula and pyramis had vascularizationsudal cerebellar artery. Bilateral anastoınosis between rostral and caudal eerebellar arteries were observed

Abstract

Cerebellum' un arteriyel beslenmesinin incelendiği bu araştırmada 20 adet ergin Akkaraman koyunu beyini kullanıldı.
Cerebellar arterlerin orijini ve seyirleri, verdikleri dallar ve bu dallar arasındaki anastomozlar gross diseksiyon ve damar içi latex uygulaması ile tespit edildi. Cerebellum'un başlıca arteria eommunieans eaudalis'in bir dalı olan arteria eerebelli rostralis ile arteria basilaris'ten orijin alan arteria cerebelli eaudal.is tarafından beslendiği gözlendi. Arteria eerebelli rostralis'den ayrılan dalların lobulus
centralis, lobulus aseendens, eulmen, declive ve tuber vermis'i beslediği belirlendi. Arteria eerebelli rostralis dexter ve arteria eerebelli i'ostralis sinister'in adı geçen anatomik yapılar üzerinde anastomoz yaptığı göri.ildii. Arteria eerebelli eaudalis'in ise floeeulus,
lobi lateralis cerebelli, nodulus, uvula ve pyramis'i beslediği saptandı. Bilateralolarak arteria eerebelli rostralis ve arteria eerebelli eaudalis'in aralarında anastomozlar yaptıkları tespit edildi.
