There are no submission fees, publication fees or page charges for publication in ‘Ankara Univ Vet Fak Derg’. As of 05.04.2019, manuscripts in English only will be accepted for the evaluation.

All of the received manuscripts are checked with software for originality. The manuscripts having reported for a similarity below 25% would be accepted for a peer-review process.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer-review process by at least three international reviewers that are experts in the subject matter of the submitted manuscript.

As the editorial board, we are aimed to publishing high quality new studies that make a significant contribution within the scope of the journal. In order to meet this aim, submitted manuscripts undergo initial evaluation by editors to ensure that they meet essential criteria for publication in the journal. Only those manuscripts that pass this initial review process, will be continued to other stages for further evaluation.

Ankara Univ Vet Fak Derg” endorses the ARRIVE guidelines (https://arriveguidelines.org/) for reporting experiments using live animals. Authors and reviewers must use the ARRIVE guidelines as a checklist, which can be found at https://arriveguidelines.org/resources/author-checklists.

Editors reserve the right to ask for the checklist and to reject submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines, to reject submissions based on ethical or animal welfare concerns or if the procedure described does not appear to be justified by the value of the work presented.

For systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials, authors should comply with the PRISMA statement, which consists of a checklist and flow diagram. Authors should include a PRISMA flow diagram in their article, and provide a copy of the completed checklist. ‘Ankara Univ Vet Fak Derg” does not publish narrative reviews except as part of invited Collections.
