As far as I am aware Ihere has been no recorrt in literatüre of seminoma in goats. The case of seminoreıa of the testicles whîch we observed recenlly İn an Ankara goat migbt be of interest and fiil tbe gap on this particular subject, The lack of reports of seminoma is not surprising becaııse the- re are few raate and female of this species of animal which reach cancer age, There is tittie record of tumors in goats, However, in an excellent review of literatüre regarding the tumors of tbe domes- tic animals, Taoıeschke (60) stated tbat of 5245 tumor cases of dif- ferent anitnals recorded, 13 cases belonged to the goat whose tes ticles were not İnvolved in any case Of tumors, and he also pointed out that the incidence of tumors in the goat was not higher than 0.02 percent. The cases of melanoma occurring endemic İn the An kara goat raised in South Africa and Kongos was not inciuded in this figüre,
