Abstract
SUDlDlary: Spontaneous acute Etlıylene gbıeol poisoning in 3 pigeons
is reported. The pathologieal afterations were observed in the liver and kidneys.
Green patehes were preseni on the swfaees of the livers. Mieroseopieally tlıese
. areas exhibited extensive aeute hepatie neeroses surrounded by lı)'dropie degeneration of hepatocytes. Birejringent exalate erystals in the eollecting renal tubules
were Jound in all pigeons whieh had ingested E. glycol. Disruption of su)'-
rounding tııbular cells were present. Gıystals were not foundin the walls of
cerebral vessels.
Özet: Vç güvereinde akut E. glycol (antifriz) zehirlenmesi olgıısu
bildirilmiştir. Tanı histopatolojik (Böbreklerde oxalat kristalleri) ve toksikolojik olarak ta)'in edilmiştir
